Alma Viola Fryman, age 87, of Cynthiana, passed away July 6, 2020. She was born in Bourbon County on September 20, 1932 to the late Herbert Carter and Laura Allen Carter. Viola was a retired Jockey employee. She also was an avid wrestling fan.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Fryman; a son, Tommy Fryman; three brothers, Charles Carter, George Carter and Junior Carter and three sisters, Malinda Wood, Cleo Fryman and Lorraine Fryman.
Viola is survived by two daughters, Nancy Roberts and Judy Kelley; six grandchildren, Mike (Kami) Saunders, Tanya (James) Jett, Rebecca (Matt) Bowling, Jason (Gerard) Fryman, Matthew Fryman and Clay (Sarah) Florence and six great-grandchildren, McKenna Jett, Emmy Saunders, Carter Fryman, Kyle Saunders, Maddy Bowling and Caroline Hurd.
A funeral service will be held at Ware Funeral Home on Thursday, July 9th at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 8th from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Ware Funeral Home. Burial will be held in Kentontown Cemetery. View and sign the guestbook at www.warefuneralhome.com
