Obituary for Anna Ruth Cooper (Young)
Anna Ruth Cooper, age 81, of Berry, KY passed away on January 31, 2024, at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. She was born in Wayne Co. KY to the late Lloyd and Zella Ball Young.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Her smile was infectious, and her love of family was genuine. She had a heart of gold and made the world a better place.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Ronald Cooper, who she married on June 6, 1958. The couple also shared the same birthdate of June 6.
Anna is also survived by two children, Diana Wells (Larry) and Jeff Cooper (Libby), five grandchildren, TJ Barnes (Sydney), Brittany Cantrell (Matt), Lucas Wells (Angela), Shelby Cooper (Josh Stanfield), Cameron Cooper (Jordan Scott), thirteen great-grandchildren, and a sister Kathleen Price.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Jean Thompson, Mildred Gregory, Dillard Young, Willard Young, Howard Young, Oneida Price, Bill Young, Lonnie Young and Johnie Young.
