Obituary for Anna Marie Spegal (Jones)
Anna Marie Spegal, of Lexington, formally of Cynthiana, age 85, passed away on March 9, 2024, in Lexington, KY. She was born on September 8, 1938, to the late James Henry Sr. and Elsie Elizabeth Curtis Jones. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Spegal; and a brother, Jimmie Jones.
Anna is survived by three sisters-in-law, Phyllis Jones, Margaret White, and Mary Gossett.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Ware Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to her service from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Steve Young will preside over services, and burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kentucky Children's Hospital, P.O.
