Obituary for Ashley Renee Banks (Williams)
Ashley Renee Williams Banks, age 36, passed away Friday August 27, 2021 at Harrison Memorial Hospital. She was born in Harrison County on June 25, 1985 to Ruby Isaac Williams and the late Chester Williams. Besides her father she is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Orie and Etta Stivers Williams; her maternal grandparents, Jesse and Phebia Chasteen Isaac; one brother, David Williams; one sister-in-law, Vickie Williams; and her Uncle and Aunt, Sammy and Nancy Wilson.
Ashley was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and homemaker, as well as being very active with Southside PTO and known as the “Basketball Mom”.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, Richard L. Banks II; two sons, Jordan Tyler Banks, Brantley Lukas Banks; two daughters, Kaylee Alexis Banks, Aubrey Ann Banks; three brothers, Paul (Vickie) Williams, Chester “Bud” (Angie) Williams, Jeff Williams; four sisters, Pamela (Alan) Watson, Sandra (David) Marcom, Donna (Donald) Rhodes, Melissa (Jeremy) Sowder; a mother-in-law, Jeannie (Bubbie) Banks; and thirty-two nieces and nephews, Andrew, Heather, Tori, Jessica, Zach, Brittany, Anthony, Chris, Meranda, Austin, Tiffany, Josh, SaraBeth, Ethan, Colby, Arielle, Brianna, Alex, Grayson, Conner, Makenlea, Jackson, Tayven, Rylan, Matthius, Paislee Jo, Braylen, Cory, Cayden, Ivyonna, Lydia, and Zoey.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 2nd at 1:00 PM at Ware Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Campbell officiating services. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 1st from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Ware Funeral Home. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery Meditation Building.
