A.V. MCCLOUD, age 80, Mt. Olivet, died Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe in Maysville. Born December 9, 1933 in Cookeville, Tennessee to the late Johnson and Sarah Short McCloud, he was a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Don McCloud and J.D. McCloud and two sisters, Linda Bolton and Rose Spangler.

He is survived by his wife, Naomi Roark McCloud; three sons, Kenny (Sally) McCloud, Waynesville, Ohio, Danny (Susan) McCloud, Waynesville, Ohio and Jeremy (Kim) McCloud, Mt. Olivet; a brother, David (Becky) McCloud, Dayton, Ohio; two sisters, Odella Sutter, Greenville, Ohio and Sue Roark, Waynesville, Ohio; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the Waynesville First Baptist Church in Waynesville, Ohio by Rev. Dale McCloud. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Robertson County Funeral Home in Mt. Olivet and Noon Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Miami Valley Memory Gardens following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.
