Obituary for Betty Louise Howard
Betty Louise Schanding Howard, age 87, passed away Wednesday, July 14th at home. She was born in Harrison County on June 15, 1934 to the late William Thomas and Zelphia Maine Schanding.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Eugene Howard; one daughter, Paula Kay Howard; two great grandchildren, Carley Yazell and Glen “Trace” Yazell III; eight brothers, E.T., Clarence, Raymond, Paul, Gene, Lewis, Leroy and George Schanding.
She is survived by two daughters, Donna (Harold) Martin, Lana Jean (Rickey) White; two brothers, Joe and Donald Schanding; two sisters, Ann Chapman, Judy Blethen; six grandchildren, Erick (Cill) White, Daniel (Michelle) Martin, Jarrod (Summer) Martin, Betsy (David Earl) Thomas, Brett Wade, Ashley (Glen) Yazell; fifteen great grandchildren, Dakota White, Gracie White, Haley White, Payton Martin, Bella Martin, Alana Thomas, Liam Martin, Nicholas Thomas, Nathaniel Thomas, Tyler Thomas, Tinley Yazell, Charlie Yazell, Raylee Yazell, Brock Wade and Kamden Wade.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, July 23rd at 6:00 PM at Ware Funeral Home with Dr. Stephen Besson and Charlotte Tincher officiating with visitation beginning at 4:00 PM until the time of service. Burial will be at a later date for the convenience of the family.
