Betty Sue Keathley, age 80, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Baptist Health Hospital, Lexington, KY. She was born May 27, 1941, in LaFollette, TN to the late Rufus and Sylvia McGhee Keathley.
Besides her parents, she is also preceded in death by her special stepmother, Ethel Bolton Keathley, of LaFollette, TN; her daughter, Sandra Newby, of Berea, KY; one sister, Jean Hope Grubb of Cynthiana, KY; and two brothers, Eddie Keathley of LaFollette, TN and Frank Keathley of LaFollette, TN.
She is survived by her grandson, Peyton Newby of Berea, KY; three sisters, Fay Hope Mastin of Cynthiana, KY, Brenda Currin of Jacksboro, TN, and Elizabeth Keathley of LaFollette, TN; two brothers, Roger (Kathy) Keathley of LaFollette, TN and Marty Keathley of Lafollette, TN; a special friend of the family, Justin King of Berea, KY; as well as several beloved nieces and nephews.
