Obituary for Betty Jane Mann (Hardin)
Betty Jane Mann, age 74, passed away, Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Harrison Memorial Hospital. She was born in Falmouth on April 14, 1946 to the late Paul Malloy and Ruby Marshall Lyvers. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by three brothers, Stevie Lyvers, Timmy Lyvers, David Lyvers; and one sister, Carol Murphy.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and Nana. She volunteered for the Harrison County High School Band, and Harrison County High School Football Boosters, taking care of not only her children, but the children of Harrison County.
She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 54 years, David Mann; one son, Tony (Bridgette) Mann; one daughter, Julie Mann (Ernie) Lucky; three grandchildren, Madeline Mann, Will Lucky, Angus Mann; two brothers, Danny Hardin, Jimmy (Pauline) Lyvers, and five sisters, Margie (David) Workman, Mary (Jimmy) Howard, Jeanie Johnson, Lisa McGaha, and Laurie Lyvers. In addition, to several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, December 10th at 11:00 AM at Ware Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 9th from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Ware Funeral Home. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Tony Mann, Will Lucky, Angus Mann, Mike Dickenherr, Dean King, and Beth Howard. Honorary pallbearer will be Ernie Lucky.
