Obituary for Betty McNees

Betty Jean Banta McNees, 88 Cynthiana, died Friday, January 1, 2021 at Cedar Ridge Health Campus. She was born in Bourbon County, October 28, 1932, daughter of Letton and Lorena Banta.
She was a member of Union Baptist Church, she also retired from 3M.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Jennings McNees; two sisters, Nancy Sue (Dutch) Feix, Peggy Mae (Jerry) Caswell; and one brother, Letton Banta Jr. (Trish).
She is survived by one sister, Mildred Ann (Tommy) Dragoo of Mt. Sterling; a sister-in-law, Anna Louise (Charles) Forsythe; one brother-in-law, Larry Joe (Mary) McNees. She also had a special sister-in-law, June (Jack) Guy of Carlisle; four daughters, Connie (Chuck) Morris, Debbie (Roger) Coppage, Marlene (Donnie) Price, Charlene (Stephen) Herron; ten grandchildren, Chuck Anthony and Craig Bradley (Rita) Morris, Russchelle (Dale) Thompson, Shauna (Heath) Hisle, LaDonna (Timmy) Gray, Ginger Wiglesworth, Heath (Eileen) Price, Stephanie (Adam) Rizzo, and Emily (Cory) Kearns; fifteen great-grandchildren; and five step great-grandchildren.
She was a loving wife, and the greatest mom to us. She hoped to see us all in heaven one day.
A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, January 5th at 1:00 PM at Ware Funeral Home with Jeremy Northcutt officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM at Ware Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pythian Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Craig Morris, Heath Price, Dale Thompson, Adam Rizzo, Cory Kearns, Timmy Gray, Heath Hisle, Gary Caswell, and Reynolds Gifford.
