Beulah Lawson Hill True, age 99, Cynthiana died Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Grand Haven Nursing Home. Born in Powell, County on May 13, 1923 to the late Roy Edgar and Mary Lawson, she was a homemaker and a member of Ray’s Fork Primitive Baptist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Quincy Hill and Robert True; a son, Gerald W. Hill, a granddaughter, Lisa Bertram; two brothers, Roy Lawson Jr. and Clarence Lawson; five sisters, Julia Cash, Florine Lucas, Mabel Simpson, Ella Simpson and Betty McClanahan and a son-in-law, Larry A. Bertram.
She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Bertram; a son, Larry S. Hill; three sisters, Bernice Bennett, Odela Delaney and Sylvia Schetler; three grandchildren, Gregory (Teresa) Bertram, Andrea (Marty) Roberts, and Jacki (Tony) Hensley; four great-grandchildren, Shelby Nickerson, Whitney (Rick) Turner, Jennifer Bertram and Andrew Bertram; seven great-great-grandchildren, Kelly, Addison, Harrison, Helena, River, Lilly and Paisley and a very special friend Dr. Richard Allen.
