BILLY ROSS KING, SR., age 81, Flaugher Hill Road, Aberdeen, Ohio, formerly of Robertson County, died Friday, June 19, 2009, at his residence. Born in Robertson County, July 30, 1927, to the late Andy and Nellie Collins King, he was a retired truck driver, a member of the Community Bible Church and a World War II Navy veteran. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry King Fossitt.

He is survived by his wife, Janice McCord King; five sons, Billy Ross (Donna) King, Jr., Lexington, Ross King, Lewisburg, South Carolina, Jeffery (Carolyn) King, La Barge, Wyoming, Tim (Sheila) King, Hamilton, Ohio and Kelley (Kathy) King, La Barge, Wyoming; six daughters, Deborah (Robert) DeHoag, Louisville, Nancy (Dean) Sellers, Maysville, Jackie Gifford, Aberdeen, Ohio, Sandra King, Louisville, Billie Jean King, Lewisburg, South Carolina and Samantha (Ralph) Hinson, La Barge, Wyoming; two stepdaughters, Stephanie (Wayne) Williams, Aberdeen, Ohio and Laura (Mike) Gifford, Foster, seventeen grandchildren; twenty four great grandchildren; five step-grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday at the Robertson County Funeral Home by Pastor Ron Hanson. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Sunday. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Hope.
