Obituary for Bobbie Newton Curtis
BOBBIE NEWTON CURTIS, age 68, Mt. Olivet, died Monday, December 15, 2008 at the Robertson County Health Care Facility. Born October 15, 1940, to the late William Raphael Curtis and Christine Fooks, he was a member of New Corinth Church and a retired employee of TI Group Automotive in Cynthiana. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Angela Hayes.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Juanita Poe Curtis; two sons, Jeffery Curtis, Mt. Olivet and William "Pete" (Angela) Curtis, Mt. Olivet; a daughter, Emma "Missy" Dalton, Lexington and four grandchildren, Jason (Jan) Curtis, Pikeville, Jamie Curtis, Cynthiana and Jessica Curtis and Katie Curtis, both of Mt. Olivet.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Friday at the Robertson County Funeral Home by Bro. Doug Wright. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Hope.
