Obituary for Bobby Sanford Holland

Bobby Sanford Holland, age 86, passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Grand Haven Nursing Home. He was born in Harrison County on March 17, 1935 to the late Woodrow and Mary Lou Rawlings Holland. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by one brother, David Holland.
He worked for the Kawneer Company for nineteen years; and for twenty-one years he was a Production Supervisor at 3M. Bobby also served six years in the Army Reserves. He was a member of Indian Creek Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Jean Casey Holland; two sons, Bobby Gene (Laurinda) Holland, Barry Layne (Gina) Holland; one daughter, Sandra (Gary) Holland Ecklar; one sister, Gloria (H.T.) Wiglesworth; six grandchildren, Matthew Holland, Andrew Holland, Josh Ecklar, Chad Ecklar, Casey Lou Williams, Sarah Holland; and five great-grandchildren, Jayden Ecklar, Conner Ecklar, Loghan Whitaker, Decklar Williams, and Jackson Ecklar.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 5th at 11:00 AM at Ware Funeral Home. The service will be officiated by Bro. Dale Kendrick. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 4th from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Ware Funeral Home. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Indian Creek Christian Church, 51 Waits Rd, Cynthiana, KY 41031.
