Obituary for Bobby D. Short
Bobby D. Short, age 85, passed away August 31st at Harrison Memorial Hospital. He was born in Madison County on November 18th, 1935 to the late Hubert and Ada Short. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by two sons, Andy Short and Brad Short; one brother, Stanley Short.
Bobby was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Glenda Johnson Short; one son Barry (Martha) Short; daughter in law, Darlene Short; eight grandchildren, Andrea (Josh) Powers, Stephanie (Ben) Wilson, Evan (Yahira) Short, Allison Silletto, Austin Short, Elizabeth (Donnie) Martin, David (Brianna) Allen, Jeremy (Megan) Allen and fourteen great grandchildren.
Bobby was a lifelong member of the Berry Christian Church and an Air Force Veteran. He retired from IBM Corporation after 34 years. He had many hobbies including golf, bowling, woodworking and was a lifelong UK fan.
