Brenda Joyce Kelly Thomas, age 74, Cynthiana, passed Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at her residence. Born in Cynthiana, September 17, 1947 to the late Erman and Ethel Richardson Kelly, she was a homemaker, worked along the side of her late husband, Jack Thomas with the Jack Thomas Salvage and a member of Central Christian Church. Beside her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by seven siblings, Bessie Nichols, William Kelly, Jean Fitch, Erman “Junior” Kelly, David “Slick” Kelly, Phillip B. Kelly and Wanda Sue Nichols and a special grandson, Jonathan Thomas.
She is survived by four sons, Jackie A. Thomas and friend, Melissa Mutscheller, Darvin W. (Heather) Thomas, Kevin L. (Amanda) Thomas and Austin L. (Ashley) Thomas; two very special sisters, Rena Bryant and Dorothy Tucker; a special brother in law, Charles Tucker; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Monday at Ware Funeral Home by Bro. Benny Northcutt. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Drew Thomas, Vincent Tucker, Austin Thomas, Julian Wilson, Dave Pitman, H.D. Kelly, Ernie Bryant and Zachary Thomas. Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Tucker, Jeffery Thomas, Gary Thomas, Butch Thomas, Bobby Kelly, Danny Kelly, Billy Fitch and Landon Thomas.
