Obituary for Carl Davis Hendricks Jr.

CARL DAVIS HENDRICKS, JR., age 29, Germantown, died Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale in Carbondale, Illinois due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in April 2013. Born in Maysville, October 6, 1985 to Carl Hendricks, Sr. of Germantown and Thelma Smith (Les) Bowman of Arkansas, he was a Deming High School graduate, a farmer and a member of Kentontown Christian Church, Robertson County FFA and Irish Pride Motorcycle Club. Carl was actively serving in the United States Army as a Staff Sargent where he served two tours in Irag. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Charles William Hendricks and Mack Smith and his best friend and comrade, Specialist Chad Groepper.

Besides his parents, he is survived a son, Preston Joseph Hendricks, Washington State; two brothers, Charles Ray (Julianne) Hendricks and Dakota Mack Hendricks, both of Arkansas; his grandmothers, Jabaralla Hendricks, Robertson County and Ruth Smith, Lewis County; a nephew, Cayden Hendricks and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday at Robertson County Funeral Home by Pastor Al Murray. Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Sunday. Burial will be in Mt.
