Carole Ann Sankbeil, age 84, Cynthiana, died Thursday, December 29, 2022 at her residence. Born in Baltimore, Ohio on September 6, 1938 to the late Robert Franklin “R.F.” Roshon and Ruth Williams Vanatta, she was a homemaker, loved her family, a porch swing and a good card game. Carole may be remembered as a food fairy at Kroger, Sam’s and Walmart. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Lee Sankbeil.
She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey L. (Kelly) Sankbeil, Englewood, Florida and David (Katie) Sankbeil, Cynthiana; a daughter, Kim (Buddy) Switzer, Cynthiana; five grandchildren, Sarah (Elliott) Brunner, Sarasota, Florida, Emily (Curtis) Elsass, Louisville, Ohio, Kyle (Janice) Sankbeil, Reno, Nevada, Cody Switzer, Lexington and Sadie (Josh) Yarber, Cynthiana; nine great grandchildren, Brayden, Olivia, Jase and Zoey Elsass, Landon, Stevie and Bodhi Brunner, Gentrie and Bowen Yarber and Owen Sankbeil and a special friend, Sadaki Yamasaki.
