Obituary for Carolyn Sue Johnson (Ratliff)
Carolyn Sue Ratliff Johnson, of Cynthiana, age 75, passed away on March 26, 2024, at Harrison Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 15, 1949, in Pikeville, KY to the late Emzie Doc and Effie Jane Ratliff. She was preceded in death by brothers, Ron Ratliff, and Glenn Justice; sisters, Eula Faye Hunt, and Kaye Sartin.
Carolyn was a dedicated mother and nanny to many. She loved deeply and was loved by many. She retired from running a bread route after 12 years. She loved spending time outside with her dog and playing cards with family and friends. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by sons, Aaron (Jennifer) Compton, Anthony (Crystal) Compton; daughters, Angela (Peter) Coffey, Anna (Bert) Adams; brothers, Hubert Justice, Donnie Justice; grandchildren, Brittany, Justin, Chelsea, Nathan, Kaitlyn, Kayla, Andrew, Nikolas; great-grandchildren, Isa, Garrett, Bennett, Clay, MaKenzie, Noah, Issiah, Norah, Josiah, and Braxton.
