Obituary for Carolyn Huddleston Linville

CAROLYN HUDDLESTON LINVILLE, age 66, Johnson Lane, Mayslick, died Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at the Markey Cancer Center in Lexington. Born in Mason County, December 9, 1942, to the late Paris Bourbon and Marcella Stitt Huddleston, she was a homemaker and a great mother. She was a member of the Sardis Assembly of God. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Earl Linville.

She is survived by a son, Michael E. (Tammy) Linville, Mason County; three daughters, Susan (Thomas) Baugus, Bracken County, Rhonda Miller, Brown County, Ohio and Shonda (Charlie) Fithen, Robertson County; a brother, Jerry Huddleston, Mason County; a sister, Erma (Ronnie) Rudy, Mason County; a very special friend, Roy Tuel, Jr.; seven grandchildren, Tabitha Morgan, Sabrina Whitmer, Rob Linville, Atasha Marck, Christina Gilreath, Sonya Walker and Ivana Carol Aileen Fithen and nine great grandchildren, Robyn Linville, Tristen Hickerson, Christopher Morgan, Hailey Penny, Austin Marck, Tanner Baugus, Lane Linville, Brice Walker and Chance Dray.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the Robertson County Funeral Home by Bro. Danny Howard and Rev. John Dotson. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Mike Linville, Thomas Baugus, Charlie Fithen, Brandon Stears, Cody Walker and Chris Marck. Honorary pallbearer will be Irvian Ray White.
