Charles Breen Looney, of Berry, age 84, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022 at UK Medical Center. He was born in Elkhorn City, KY on August 25, 1938 to the late Ernest and Thelma Wallace Looney. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, George Looney, and Carroll Eugene Looney.
Charles was an Army Veteran and was a welder at Rockwell International.
He is survived by four daughters, Charlene Looney, Beth (Will) Mallard, Amelia (Matt) Arnold, and Sara Bowlin; one brother, John D. Looney; seven grandchildren, Nathaniel Taylor, Sawyer Taylor, Allison Nichols, Lauren Emily Nichols, Jon Nichols, Daniel Bowlin, and Jake Bowlin; and one niece, Travin Looney.
A graveside service will be held at Battle Grove Cemetery Mediation Building on Friday, October 7th at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow.
