Charlotte Ruth Pope, age 90, a lifetime resident of Cynthiana, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Edgemont Healthcare after a short illness. She was born December 24, 1931 to the late Byron and Elizabeth Bean Donovan. She was raised by her aunt, Minnie Humphrey, from the age of two months after the passing of her mother. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clay Pope.
She is survived by two sisters, Judy (Donald) Ecklar and Joan Smith; several nieces and nephews, Jarrod (Jessica) Carter; Ashley Brooks, Courtney (Tyler) Pickett and David (Tina) Ecklar; two step-nephews, Carter Bennett and Miles Wright; great nieces and nephews, Brandi (Dan) Gillen, Amanda Matthews, Michael Craven, Savannah Eckler, Elora (Nathan) Williams, Lauren Carter and Aubree Carter and and several great great-nieces and nephews, Elisa Williams, Nora Bell Williams, Aden Gillen, Mattie Marcum and Olivia Marcum
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday 1:00 P.M. at Ware Funeral Home by Rev. Robert Donovan with visitation at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery. View and sign the guestbook at www.warefuneralhome.com
