Daum Russell (Rusty) Adams Sr, age 94, died February 12, 2024 at his home in Harrison County, Kentucky. Born February the 7th, 1930, to the late John Theodore Adams and Lottie Fryman Adams of Harrison County, Kentucky. Rusty is survived by three sons, Daum Russell (Butch) Adams Jr (Michelle), Luther Thomas (Tommy) Adams of Carlisle, Kentucky and James Theodore (Jay Bird) Adams (T.J.) of Cynthiana Kentucky; four daughters, Rebecca Sue (Becky) Cooper (Tommy) of Georgetown, Kentucky, Diana Marie (Dee Dee) Jones (Tom) of Georgetown, Kentucky, Daun Rochelle Dunn of Georgetown, Kentucky, Dean Renee' Adams of Cynthiana, Kentucky; and two bonus daughters-in-laws, Paula Adams of Cynthiana, Kentucky, Rose Chafin of Carlisle, Kentucky; fifteen grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren and thirteen great-great grandchildren.
Rusty was proceeded in death by his former wife, Marie Adams; one son, Johny Lee Adams; one grandson Jeffrey Todd Adams; two granddaughters, Julia Burns Fryman Adams, and Margaret Victoria Ryan Walker; one great-great granddaughter, Laura Kate Wagoner; and a sister Sue Dennison.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 17th at Connersville Christian Church in Cynthiana, Kentucky between 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Burial will be at the family’s convenience at Raven Creek Cemetery in Sadieville, Kentucky.
