DENNIS LYNN JONES, age 50, Germantown, died Wednesday, August, 8, 2012 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. Born in Bracken County on September 20, 1961 to Orpha Boots Jones, Mt. Olivet and the late, Arthur "Pete" Jones, he was a farmer at the Richard Appleman Farms and was an avid fisherman. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Rita Jones Hall.

Besides his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Kassie Jones, Brooksville; four brothers, Danny (Betty) Jones, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Michael Jones, Mt. Olivet, Gary (Bertha) Jones, Brooksville and Jeff Jones, Robertson County; two sisters, Vicki (Gary) Smith, Frankfort and Gladys Jones Allen, Robertson County; several nieces and nephews and numerous friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the Robertson County Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Robertson County Funeral Home towards funeral expenses.
