Obituary for Donald L. Crawford

DONALD L. CRAWFORD, age 71, Lexington, died Monday, February 4, 2013 at the Care Center at Kenton Point in Maysville. Born June 2, 1941 in Nicholas County to the late Elmer Lee and Pearl Augustine Logan Crawford, he was a retired heavy equipment salesman for Komatsu Manufacturing, a United States Army Veteran, member of the Robert M. Sirkle Masonic Lodge #954 and the North East Christian Church in Lexington.

He is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Joan Haas Crawford, a son, Stephen (Catherine) Crawford, Greenville, Indiana; a brother, Fred Crawford, New Port News, Virginia; a sister, Rita Doyle, Robertson County; two grandchildren, Jordan Cooley and Logan Cooley; four special sisters in-law, Betty Dice, Mary Welch, Dolores Linville and Martha Wood; two brothers in-law, Harold Haas and Larry Haas and a special friend, Ronald Montgomery, Lexington.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:30 P.M. Saturday at the Robertson County Funeral Home by Jackie McElfresh. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday with Masonic service at 7:30 P.M. Burial will be in Sharon Cemetery in Bracken County. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, Kentucky 41056.
