Donald Ray “Duck” Jackson Sr., age 82, passed away Monday, July 4, 2022. He was born in Gallatin County, Kentucky on April 24, 1940, to the late Kirby B. and Icie Webster Jackson. He is also preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Jean Hiten Gonzales; four brothers, Ben Jackson, Kirby Jackson Jr., Joseph Jackson, and James Robert Jackson; four sisters, Flora Payne, Mary Jackson, Elza Marie Jackson, and Daisey Marie Jackson.
He is survived by two sons, Donald (Erin) Jackson Jr. and Kevin Jackson; two brothers, Pete Jackson and Danny (Mary) Jackson; two sisters, Margaret Ramsey and Barbara Laytart; five grandchildren, Samantha Jackson, Donald Jackson III “Jack”, Jordan Jackson, Raylynn Jackson, and Wesley Jackson; six great-grandchildren, Clayton Stewart, Liam Kimmel, Nick Jackson, Ella Jackson, Donald Jackson IV “DJ”, Carter Jackson, and one great-granddaughter on the way, Bridgleigh Jackson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
