Obituary for Donald L. King

DONALD L. KING, age 75, Ewing, died Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the Fleming County Hospital. Born September 26, 1937 in Robertson County to the late Dave and Thelma E. Fryman King, he was a retired General Motors factory worker, farmer and a member of the New Corinth Church of Christ. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Dale Hopkins King; a brother, Renna King and three sisters, Jeanie Tuel, Alberta Gaunce and Geneva Laytart.

He is survived by three sons, Terry (Teresa) King, Tony (Pam) King and Troy (Cindy) King, all of Mt. Olivet; a brother, J.D. King, Cynthiana; two sisters, Carolyn King and Louise (Kenny) Hughes, both of Mt. Olivet; eight grandchildren, Brad (Karen) King, Luke King, Kyle King, Sarah King, Chad King, Mikayla King, Ryan (Tia) Henson and Adam (Jana) Henson and three great grandchildren, Ava King, Joshua Ross and Tenley Henson.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Robertson County Funeral Home by Bro. Dee Whitaker with visitation at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be in Kentontown Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the New Corinth Church of Christ c/o Thomas Mitchell, 2864 Piqua-Kentontown Road, Mt. Olivet, Kentucky 41064.

Active pallbearers will be Brad King, Rick Berry, Kyle King, Luke King, Rick King, Jason Hughes and Keith Tuel. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Hughes, Chad King, Sarah King, Mikayla King, Ryan Henson and Adam Henson.
