Obituary for Donnie Hopkins
Donnie Hopkins, age 57, Stamping Ground, died Sunday, April 30, 2023 at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. Born in Bourbon County on July 13, 1965 to Barbara Charles and the late Ernest Hopkins, he was a truck driver and farmer. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Eva Hopkins and a sister, Diana Hunter.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Sherry Clemons Hopkins; three sons, Shawn (Whitney) Hopkins, Jonathan Hopkins and Charles Hopkins; two brothers, Billy (Tammy) Hopkins and Jimmy Hopkins; three grandchildren, Bentley Hopkins, Brooklynn Hopkins and Aubrey Hopkins and four special friends, H.D. Kelly, Timmy (Penny) Faircloth, Tilford (Crystal) Baker and Scott “Spark Plug” Ferguson.
Funeral services will be conducted 8:00 P.M. Friday, May 5, 2023 at Ware Funeral Home by Pastor Tim Carson with visitation at 5:00 P.M. View and sign the guestbook at www.warefuneralhome.com.
