Obituary for Dora Kay Vance (Faulkner)
Dora Kay Vance, age 71, entered glory on July 20, 2022. She was a devoted wife of 55 years to James T. Vance and faithful minister’s wife for 51 years.
She leaves three beloved children, Anthony Vance, Kim Wells and Jessika Vance-Morgan. Dora loved her grandchildren and was a beloved “Nanny” to Kaitlyn Wells, Ava Vance, Alex Vance, Parker Morgan and Caroline Martin.
She leaves behind her sister, Nancy “Charldean” Popejoy and faithful dog, Ella. Dora was preceded death by her parents Elijah and Georgia Faulkner and her brother, “GC” Faulkner.
Dora loved serving her role in the ministry beside her husband and desire any donations to be made to the Ammerman Road Baptist Church Mission Fund, 1524 Ammerman Road, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031.
Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 A.M. Monday at Ware Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery. www.warefuneralhome.com.
