Obituary for Douglas McArthur Hall

Douglas McArthur Hall, age 80, Cynthiana, died Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Harrison Memorial Hospital. Born in Letcher County on April 6, 1942 to the late Benjamin Harrison and Sadie Imel Fife Hall, he retired from Ford Motor Company after 25 years and was a United States Air Force veteran. Douglas was a member of United Auto Workers Union and Church of Christ. He was loved and respected by all who knew him and will be missed greatly by his family and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Patty Hall Elson and Lillian Fisher and two brothers, John L. Hall and Hubert Henry Hall.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Sue Breeding Hall; five sisters, Bonnie Collins, Cynthiana, Ernestene Bentley, North Ridgeville, Ohio, Billie L. Fryman, Cynthiana, Vera Anderson, Cynthiana and Diane Pilkenton, Bristol, Virginia; a stepson, Hubert Seth Hall; three step grandchildren and many friends too numerous to mention.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 P.M. Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Ware Funeral Home by Minister Jim Hardy with visitation at 4:00 P.M. A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 7, 2022 at Battle Grove Cemetery. View and sign the guestbook at www.warefuneralhome.com.
