Obituary for Edgar Allen Lanthorn
Edgar Allen Lanthorn, age 80, of Cynthiana, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Good Samaritan Hospital Lexington, KY. He was born in Lewis County, KY, on December 15, 1943, to the late Leslie and Anna Bruce Lanthorn. Besides his parents, Edgar was also preceded in death by a son, Richard Lanthorn; and brothers, Roy, Frank and George Lanthorn.
He attended Cynthiana Christian Church, where he was a deacon and a member of the men’s Bible study.
Edgar is survived by his wife, Barbara Lanthorn; brother, Donald Lanthorn; grandchildren, Mason (Hannah Schigel) Lanthorn and Carter Lanthorn.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 12:00 PM, at Ware Funeral Home. A visitation will be prior to the service, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Burial will be following services at Battle Grove Cemetery. View and sign guestbook at www.warefuneralhome.com.
