Edith Cooper Ulrich, age 88, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Bracken County Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Neave, KY on November 21, 1931 to the late Ralph Lawton and Julia Marie Welch Cooper. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Marion Ulrich; four brothers, John Cooper, Donnie Cooper, Ronnie Cooper, Kenny Cooper; and a sister, Marcella Dorn.
She is survived by two sons, Lawton (Maria) Ulrich, Gregory (Beth) Ulrich; two daughters, Tracy Steinhauer, Michele Coleman; four brothers, Darrell (Carol) Cooper, Carl Cooper, David (Alta) Cooper, Gary Cooper; four sisters, Mary (Charles) Teegarden, Phyllis (Michael) Martin, Joetta (George Wild) Cooper, Janet (Jerry) Tucker; twelve grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, January 29th at 2:00 PM at Fairview Christian Church, 2506 Walcott – Johnsville Rd., Foster, KY 41043, with Evan Meyer officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 29th from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Fairview Christian Church. Burial will be in Sharon Cemetery, Asbury Rd., Augusta, KY, 41002.
