Edna Wayne Honican, age 87, Mt. Olivet, passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at her residence. She was a member of the Kentontown Christian Church. Born in Mason County on July 24th, 1934, to the late Eddie and Minnie Jefferson Hitt, besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Kerman Honican; one son, Terry Honican; one granddaughter, Jessica Hitt.
She is survived by two sons, Lanny (Evelyn) Hitt, Lee Honican; six grandchildren, Vicky Honican, Adam Honican, Andrew Honican, Nathan Honican, Stephen Honican, Meredith Ishmael; eight Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great Grandchild; and one daughter-in-law, Belinda Honican.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Friday August 27th, 2021, at Kentontown Cemetery, US HWY 62 East Mt. Olivet, KY 41064, with Tommy Cox officiating. Contributions can be made to Kentontown Christian Church.
