Ervin Harold “Slick” Garrison, age 87, passed away on November 30, 2023. He was born on November 30, 1936, in Harrison County, to the late Lucy Price Honican. Besides his mother, Ervin was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Kenneth Honican; his wife, Nancy Carole Pierce, and a sister, Wilma Cottingham.
He is survived by a son, Gene (LaTricia) Garrison; two daughters, Tracye (Donnie) Young, and Tina (Dave) Miller; seven grandchildren, Stacy (Rodney) Wells, Kelsey (Juan) Torres, Sydney (Zane) Bourne, Emily (Bryan) Smiley, Brittany (Shalyn) Barnes, Holly (Charlie) Ammerman, and Megan (Drew) Harris; thirteen great-grandchildren, Tyler Barnes, Paulo Torres, Delilah Ammerman, Harper Bourne, Destiny Wells, Eliana Torres, Logan Barnes, Brinley Bourne, Elaina Ammerman, Lydia Harris, Luis Torres, Rowan Bourne, and Beau Harris, and a special friend, Joan Smith.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Ware Funeral Home with visitation on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Ware Funeral Home with burial in Battle Grove Cemetery.
