Ethel Kay Yazell, age 72, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022, at Grand Haven Nursing Home. She was born in Bourbon County on August 22, 1949, to the late Charles Clinton and Virgie Stanfield McCarty. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Jessie Yazell; one son, Charles “Chucky” Clinton Yazell; one brother, William Earl “Fuzzy” McCarty.
She is survived by two sons, Tony Wayne Yazell, Robbie Moyer; two brothers, Doug McCarty, Marvin Clinton McCarty; one sister Rose M. Vice; one daughter-in-law, Tammy Fay; four grandchildren, Kelsey Treadway, Gabrielle Yazell, Clinton Yazell, Sidney Setters; and several great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 24th at 1:00 PM at Ware Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
