Obituary for Frank Monroe Henson

Frank Monroe Henson, age 68, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021 at his residence. He was born on June 20, 1953 to George Monroe Henson and Betty Rose Kennedy Henson.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Debbie Henson; two sons, Jonathan Frank (Alicia) Henson, Joseph Ivan (Kendall) Henson; three grandchildren, Henry Joseph Henson, Ruby Gale Henson, and Rose Marie Henson.
A Catholic Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 24 at St. Edward Catholic Church with a luncheon following in the Reception Hall at Cynthiana Christian Church. Burial will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.
Frank was a 1971 Harrison County High School graduate where he played baseball. He attended Morehead State University graduating in 1975. By the American Society of Clinical Pathologists Board of Registry, Frank become a Medical Technologist in 1976. He opened Combined Physicians Laboratory in 1983 and was the owner/operator for 35 years. He served Harrison County residents as a Magistrate of District One for four years.
Frank’s favorite pastime was engaged playtime with his grandchildren. He also was a fan of Opera, travel, family vacations and appreciated a good book. Frank truly valued competitive golf outings with his sons and his many friends. He was most recently honored with an induction into the Harrison County Baseball Hall of Fame in spring of 2021.
