Obituary for Garvis Colemire

Garvis Colemire, age 74, Brooksville, died Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. Born in Pendleton County, July 14, 1948 to the late Charlie and Edna Phillips Colemire, he was a farmer. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Renee Colemire; three brothers, Robbie J. Colemire, Franklin Colemire and Charles Colemire and five sisters, Ermalene Cady, Glendola Mains, Dorothy Amyx, Judy Colemire and Geneva Cunningham.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Andrea Perkins Colemire; two sons, Kevin (Kelli) Colemire and Paul James; four daughters, Julie (Darren) Fraysure, Tonya Colemire, Kendell (Ricky) Boggs and Donna Proeschel; two brothers, Kenny (Winnie) Colemire and Billy (Helen) Colemire; eleven grandchildren, Haley Fraysure, Katie Colemire, Kyla Colemire, Karli Colemire, Ashten Balestra, Aliya Little, Jericho Boggs, Copeland Boggs, Meadow James, Andrew Fraysure and Jessica Muench and three great grandchildren, Karmen Walters, Jordan Walters and Jasmyn Walters.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Monday, October 24, 2022 at Ware Funeral Home by Bro. Michael Cannon with visitation at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in Owen Cemetery, 1395 Neave Milford Road, Falmouth, Kentucky 41040. Memorial contributions may be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators, 1733 Harrodsburg Road, Lexington, Kentucky 40504.
Pallbearers will be Harold Carrington, Stevie Wright, David Workman, Jaden Bess, Donnie Hoehn, Craig Smith, Travis Wright and Justin Hadden.
