George T. Morris Jr. “Junebug”, of Cynthiana, KY, age 78, passed away on December 18, 2023. He was born on February 17, 1945, in Cynthiana, to the late George T. and Mary Francis Morris Sr. Besides his parents, George was also preceded in death by his sister, Linda Annis.
George is survived by his wife, Hazel Morris; two sons, Jimmy (Heather) Morris, and Ronnie (Teresa) Morris; three brothers, Tommy (Judy) Morris, Jackie Morris, and Floyd Shingleton; two sisters, Edith (Carl) Fizzette, and Beverly Morris; eight grandchildren, Aaron, Michelle, Brandon, Katie, Laura, Kelsi, Keegan, and Emily; eleven great-grandchildren, Thomas, Ava, Ryan, Michael, Asher, Everly, Charlie, Ansley, Blake, Carson, and Will.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at Ware Funeral Home, with visitation on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. also at Ware Funeral Home.
