Obituary for Gerald Wayne Northcutt
Wayne Northcutt, of Cynthiana, age 73, passed away on April 8, 2024, at his home in Cynthiana. He was born on December 15, 1950, to the late George Thomas and Beaulah Grayson Northcutt. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Bell.
Wayne retired from the Harrison County Road Department and also worked at Slade’s Meat Packers for 29 years. He was the owner and operator of Northcutt Meat Packers. He loved fishing, farming, hunting, and was known for being a prankster.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Florence Northcutt; son, Daryl “Bubby” (Kim) Northcutt; daughter, Amanda “Lucille” White; brothers, Russell (Nancy) Northcutt, Charles (Sue) Northcutt, Lynn (Claudette) Northcutt, Keith (Donna) Northcutt; grandchildren, Gracie White, Haley White, Caleb Northcutt; several nieces and nephews; and a special fur baby, Molly.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 11, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at Ware Funeral Home with visitation Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Ware Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Burial will be in Beaver Baptist Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Johnny Charles, Tod Morrison, RB Slade, Jon Simpson, Russ Arnold, and David Henderson. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Shields, Greg Muntz, Tony Muntz, Charlie Duckworth, Charlie Northcutt, Keith Northcutt, Russ Northcutt, Donnie Fryman, Lynn Northcutt, Frank White, and nephews.
