Glenda F Bowers Lang, age 80, passed away Friday, October 1st,2021 at her home. She was born in Stonega, Virginia on January 13th, 1941, to the late Hobert McKinley & Ida Belle Bowers. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Louis Lang; five brothers; Burnace Bowers, Rheabon Bowers, Norman Bowers, Gerald Bowers, Alton Bowers; three sisters, Rue Mullins, Jewell Smith, Arnetta Blevins.
She is survived by two sons, Steven (Jackie) Lang, Steven (Leighann) Hines; one daughter, Gina (Stanley) Whitley; one brother, Hobert (Lin) Bowers; one sister, Violet Bledsoe; seven grandchildren, Sara (Chad Vance) Whitley, Travis Whitley, Frank Lang, Grace Lang, Eric (Harmony) Sowder, Katie (David) Ritz, Jimmy Hines; three great grandchildren, Whitley Vance, Afton Ritz, Alex Sowder.
A funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 5th, 2021, at 1:00 PM with a visitation beginning at 11:00 AM until the time of service with Father Niby Kannai officiating at Ware Funeral Home.
