Gregory Scott Fischer, age 65, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana, Kentucky. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on January 7, 1957, to the late Fred L. and Peggy Thompson Fischer. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Janis (Don) Wahrmund and a niece Susan Wahrmund.

He is survived by his wife, Dee Gee Ford Fischer; two daughters, Sarah (Andy) Thomas, Anna (Kevin) Batchelor; one brother, John (Tracy) Fischer; niece, Jackie Wahrmund; four grandchildren, Dylan Thomas, Cora Batchelor, Eleanor Thomas, and Beau Batchelor.

Greg was a devoted and loving husband to his wife of 42 years, Dee Gee. He was a wonderful father to his daughters, and he was affectionately known as “G-Dad” to his grandchildren who he adored. He was employed at Lockheed Martin in Lexington, Kentucky.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 29th from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Ware Funeral Home in Cynthiana, Kentucky. The family will hold a private memorial service and burial at a separate time.
