Obituary for Harold Wayne Burns
Harold Wayne Burns, age 90, passed away at Robertson County Nursing Home Thursday, June 2, 2022. He was born in Mt. Olivet on June 18, 1931 to the late Omar C. Burns and Grace Hall Burns. He is also preceded in death by two wives, Jewel Burns and Jean Burns; one sister, Lorraine (Frank) Bradley, and one brother-in-law, Bobby Henson.
Harold proudly served in the Navy and worked for the United States Postal Service where he retired. He had several interests from golfing to being a horse racing enthusiast.
He is survived by two sons, Edward (Terri) Burns and Wayne (Mona) Burns; two daughters, Kim (Lester) Withrow, and Linda (Bill) Estilow; one sister, Ann Henson; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Robertson County Funeral Home at 1:00 P.M. Visitation will also be held Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Robertson County Funeral Home from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Bro. Bill Henry will be officiating the services. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Erik Burns, Tyler Burns, Nick Withrow, Josh Withrow, Lester Withrow, and Edward Burns.
