Harold Buford “Bucky” Hignite , age 71, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Harrison County, Kentucky on June 7, 1949 to the late James Hignite and Della Owens Hignite. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Vickey C Wiglesworth, three grandchildren; Daisy Marie Hignite, Joseph Blake Hignite, and Brent Allen Baker and his special friend Doris Beckett.
He is survived by one son, Harold David “Bubba” (Lauren) Hignite; three daughters, Morgan (Chris) Linville, Britt (Shane) Gasser, Natalie (Matt) Lewis; one sister, Colleen Kenworthy; nine grandchildren, Wesley Lewis, Nick Lewis, Dylan Tate Gasser, Brooklen Christine Linville, John Taylor Schreiber, Bailey Lynn Gasser, Hunter David Hignite, Harper Marie Hignite, and Houston Blaine Hignite, and three Grand Dogs Tanner, Ellie, and Abby.
A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, December 31st at 11:00 AM with Mike Currans officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 30th from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Ware Funeral Home. Burial will be at Battle Grove Cemetery.
