Obituary for Ina Sue Bradford (Lizer)

Ina Sue Bradford, 90, of Cynthiana, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Cedar Ridge Health Campus. She was born in Harrison County on April 4, 1932, to the late Cecil Thomas and Margaret Carter Lizer. Sue was also preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Manville Keith Bradford; brothers, Ted (Peggy) Lizer, Billy Lizer, Larry Lizer; and two sisters, Betty (Harold) Robey, Bobbie (Norvel) Glascock; three sisters-in-law, Betty (Robert Lee) Clifford, Georgia (Glenn) McCauley, Billie Bradford.
She is survived by two sons, Keith Bradford, Kevin Bradford; two daughters, Faye Thornton, Donna (Marshall) Kearns; a brother-in-law, Roy Bradford; and two sisters-in-law, Nancye Lizer, Bonnie (Gerald) Whalen; ten grandchildren, Kim (Mark) Jenkins, Carman Ratliff, Nick (Mandy) Thornton, Nathan (Dale) Thornton, Deanna (Janak) Talwalkar, Kelly (Bret) Lavey, Andrew Kearns, Jacob (Katie) Bradford, Katie (Ben) Furnish, Joe Bradford; twenty-four great grandchildren, Sara (Landon) Palmer, Marly (Jordan) Earlywine, Brock Jenkins, Abby Ratliff, Emma Ratliff, Izzy Ratliff, Ivy Thornton, Cale Thornton, Gray Thornton, Morgan Ventris, Connor Ventris, Mira Talwalkar, Sam Talwalkar, Austin Brandon, Amber Brandon, Riley Brandon, Ellie Lavey, Carson Lavey, Caden Lavey, Kaylee Bradford, Kinley Bradford, Ford Furnish, Garrett Furnish, Brodie Furnish; great-great grandchildren, Levi Palmer, Falynn Palmer, and Archie Clay Earlywine arriving in April. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
Sue was a 4-H leader for 40 years and helped young women learn to sew. She was a member and past president of the Harrison County Indian Creek Homemakers, a member and past president of Community Farm Alliance of Kentucky, during which time she met Willie Nelson at Farm Aid. Sue also loved her quilts and was a member of Crazy Quilters for over 20 years. She was a member of Indian Creek Christian Church where she taught Sunday school, and is currently a member of Connersville Christian Church.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Ware Funeral Home at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be on Friday, January 27, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, also at Ware Funeral Home. Brother Clifford Neat and Dr. Timothy Teater will lead services, and burial will be at Battle Grove Cemetery.
