Jackie Kent “Jack” Bloomingdale, age 82, passed away at Harrison Memorial hospital on Sunday, September 19th, 2021. He retired from IH/Navistar where he worked for 35 years, was a member of UAW, & Elks 438. He was born in Mason City, Iowa on August 13th, 1939, to the late Gerald Alfred & Mary Baker Bloomingdale.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Ronny Bloomingdale, Jerry Bloomingdale; four sisters, Phyllis Helgeson, Mary Wellborn, Janice Bloomingdale, Peggy Scholl; one granddaughter, Morgan Conley.
He is survived by one daughter, Jolene (William) Conley of Cynthiana, KY; one son, Sharm (Chantel) Bloomingdale of Missouri; one brother, Tom Bloomingdale of LeClaire, Iowa; one sister, Diane Lysen of Minnesota; one grandchild, Caleb (Rachel) Conley of Cynthiana, KY; five great grandchildren, Lydyah K. Tucker, Riley L. Conley, Lincoln K. Conley, Carsey Jo Conley, Olivia R. Conley all of Cynthiana, KY; many nieces & nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 27th, 2021, at Ware Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00PM service will begin at 8:00 PM with Bro. Tom Moore officiating.
