JACK WAYNE FLORENCE, age 86, Mt. Olivet, died Sunday, June 15, 2014 at his residence. Born in Foster, April 9, 1928 to the late Rhoda "Ressie" Esther Smith Florence, he was a United States Army Veteran and a C&O (CSX) Railroad clerk for forty-two years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #291, Shriners, Order of the Eastern Star, Kentucky Central Railway Club and a deacon of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Jonah Allen Florence.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Aileen Wells Florence; four children, Thomas W. ( Paula) Florence, Yucaipa, California, Esther Sue Florence Isaacs, California, Kentucky, James L. (Diane) Florence, Mt. Olivet and John F. (Shelley) Florence; fourteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at Robertson County Funeral Home with a Masonic service at 8:00 P.M. A graveside service will be at 12:00 P.M.
