Jack Reed King, age 85, passed away Tuesday, August 31st, 2021, at St. Joseph Main Hospice Center. He was born in Pendleton County on September 8th, 1935, to the late Robert F. King & Loretta Angell King. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his Wife Wanda “T” King; one daughter, Lori Parks; four brothers, Jimmy, Paul, Curtis, & Earl; two sisters, Juanita Meyer, Geraldine Brown.
He is survived by one son; Tim (Tammy) King; one daughter, Sandy (Gary) Hill; six Grandchildren, Jason Jones, Travis Jones, Jackie King, Nelson Parks, Kelsea Reust, Kendall King; six Great-grandchildren Austin Jones, Zander Jones, Melilla Jones, Lydia Jones, Aaron King, Lori Grace King.
A funeral service will he held on Saturday September 4th, 2021, at 2:00 PM with a visitation beginning at 11:00 AM until the time of service at Ware Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Pythian Grove Cemetery with Bro. Mike Jones & Travis Jones officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Junior Diabetes Research Foundation JDRF.org. Pallbearers will be Tim King, Jason Jones, Nelson Parks, Dave Parks, Austin Jones, Zander Jones & Gary Hill. Honorary Pallbearers will be Eddie Fisher, Mike Sumpter, Jason King, Rick Cole, Gary Hedger, & Gary Linville.
