Obituary for Jacqueline Marie "Jackie" Brockmeyer (West)
Jacqueline “Jackie” Marie West Brockmeyer, age 74, of Cynthiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 24, 2023, at her home. She was born in Chicago, IL on June 27, 1949, to the late William and Viota J. West. Jacqueline was also preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Chappell; a grandson, Jaccob Chappell; daughter-n-law, Renee Chappell; and her brothers.
Jacqueline is survived by her husband of 23 years, Dennis S. Brockmeyer; sons, Johnny (Valery) Chappell, James (Lexi) Chappell, Tony Chappell, Alexander (Molly) Brockmeyer, AJ Aubrey; daughters, Michele (Dwayne) Adkins, Maria (Eric) Carlisle, Viota (Garry) Uhles, Faye (James) Aubrey, Victoria (Justin) Kelly; grandchildren, Hayden Adkins, Ryne Adkins, Zackery Chappell, Matthew Chappell, Robby Carlisle, Anjale Jones, Destiny Carlisle, Jaydon Smith, Alton Chappell, Jared Chappell, Brandon Uhles, Jacqueline Hurst, Elizabeth Uhles, Kaitlyn Chappell, Connor Aubrey, Logan Aubrey, Madeline Brockmeyer; and four great-grandchildren, Carson Chappell, Aubrey Jones, Mia Jones, Giovani Chappell.
Affectionately known as “Gee” to her grandchildren whom she loved fiercely, Jacqueline woke every morning to read her Bible and enjoy a cup of coffee. She was the foundation of her family and she challenged those around her to love better, forgive faster, and always look for the joy. Jacqueline raised 7 kids alone, was a devoted nurse, loved her garden and was an avid rose grower. As a registered nurse, she kept in contact with many of her patients, as they became friends and Jacqueline took amazing care of each one. She will be deeply missed by all. She lived and loved with God’s grace and is at home in heaven with him now. Jacqueline wanted to always instill in anyone and everyone she met, to remember that “All good things come from God”.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 3:00 PM, at Leesburg Christian Church, 6005 KY-1842, Cynthiana, KY, 41031. Public visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 PM, until 3:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators, 1317 US-62, Cynthiana, KY 41031, in honor of Jacqueline.
