James William “Jim” Dennis, age 75, Lexington, formerly of Cynthiana, died peacefully Thursday, March 9, 2023 at his residence. Born in Cynthiana on April 13, 1947 to the late James Hillman and Lois Taylor Dennis, he was an electrician and loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kellar Dennis.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Corman Dennis; two sons, Daniel Dennis and James (Jeannine) Dennis; two daughters, Lisa (Scott) Wilson and Becky (Nolen) Miller; a daughter-in-law, Janet Dennis; a brother, Tommy (Debbie) Taylor; two sisters, Debbie Lutes and Sharon (Billy) Fowler; nine grandchildren, Juliann Anderson, James Dennis III, Jessica Dennis, Austin Dennis, Sam Dennis, Gabriella Miller, Aubrey Miller, Lily Miller and Virginia Miller and four great grandchildren, Kimberly Dennis, Marshall Dennis, TJ Dennis and Treyton Miller.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Monday, March 13, 2023 at Ware Funeral Home with visitation at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery.
