Obituary for Jean Deming Adams (Harris)
Jean Deming Adams, age 76, passed away Monday, July 11, 2022, at Harrison Memorial Hospital. She was born in Harrison County on December 24, 1945, to the late Steve Harris and Charles Anna Wilson. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers, James Edward Marks and Steven Ray Harris.
She is survived by her husband, Green G. Adams; three step daughters, Glaytonia Adams, Areca Adams, Tammy Adams; one brother, Jerry Harris; and three sisters, Vickie Wash, Terry Harris, and Dixie Frazier.
Jean enjoyed her job at Good Sam for many years, and serving in her church at St. James A. M. E. She served on many boards, was a former missionary president and participated on the senior and chapel choirs.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 16th, at 3:00 PM, at Ware Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral, and will begin at 1:00 PM. Reverend Antonio Q. Stuckey will preside over services. Pallbearers are as follows: Jamie Harris, Vincent Harris, Michael Harris, Jason Whiting, Keion Gross, and Keith Frazier.
