Obituary for Jean Hill Walton Ward

JEAN HILL WALTON WARD, age 89, Mt. Olivet, died Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Robertson County Health Care Facility. Born in Germantown, January 5, 1921, to the late James and Anne Elizabeth Henson Hill, she was a former Social Services and Head Start employee. Mrs. Ward was a homemaker, worked in the War Plant in Dayton, Ohio and was a former employee Robertson County Library. She was a very active member of Foster's Chapel United Methodist Church, having served as a treasurer and taught Sunday School. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by, her first husband, Robert Walton; two brothers, Cecil Hill and Pete Hill and three sisters, Lucille Moore, Pauline Poe and Elsie Hill.

She is survived by husband, Everett Ward; two sons, Bobby (Judy) Walton, Maysville and Cecil (Jane) Walton, Foster; a daughter, Patti (Randy) Insko, Mt. Olivet; a stepdaughter, Pam (Jackie) Fite, Scott County; five grandchildren, Cassidy (Scott) Connell, Sean McKay, Maisie Insko, Graham and Griffin Walton; great grandchildren, Keegan Connell and Zoey McKay and a step-granddaughter, Elicha Fulton.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Robertson County Funeral Home by Bro. Doug Wright. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Foster's Chapel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Foster's Chapel Church Building Fund.
